Literacy in Indonesia

Literacy is well known as the ability to read and write. But, most of us perhaps thinks that literacy is the ability to read, not to criticize what we reading of.

The fourth place for the most overpopulated country in the world is Indonesia and over half of them isn't well educated according some scientists. Comparing with Singaporean and Vietnamese, Indonesian's interest in literacy is far beyond from the satisfying number.

With the massive progress from technology, digital literacy in Indonesia could be the solution for their lack of interest in literacy. Nowadays, internets is everywhere and Indonesian could choosing their favorite subject to read and critize.

Yet, there's a major problem behind them when we pushing Indonesian for doing more digital literacy. There's hoax, non-truthful news or a fake information. Hoax became dangerous when the netizens believes that what they're have been read was fully true. The spreading of the hoax can be unstoppable with the significant development of technology.

The solution that could be offered is that we're doing some team to deleting hoax. So, the nitizen can be freely get their literature with no worries by it's truthness.
